(Summary description) The common viral diseases of pigs in spring are now introduced as follows. It is hoped that pig farmers will do a good job in the prevention and control of common pig viral diseases in spring.

Information

The common viral diseases of pigs in spring are now introduced as follows. It is hoped that pig farmers will do a good job in the prevention and control of common pig viral diseases in spring.

1. Porcine PRRS: The disease mainly affects the reproductive and respiratory systems, mainly manifested as high fever (41-42°C), depression, anorexia, dyspnea, abortion or premature birth in pregnant sows, and the stillbirth rate is as high as 80- 100%; piglet mortality is also as high as more than 80%. The key to preventing this disease is to adopt self-propagation and self-raising and strictly prohibit importing pigs from the epidemic area, strengthen the management and disinfection of pig farms, and at the same time cooperate with vaccine immunization. . Sows and boars can be immunized every 5 months. When there is a sudden change in temperature or other stress, some antibiotics (such as florfenicol, etc.), antiviral drugs (such as isatis root, astragalus polysaccharide, etc.) and anti-stress drugs (such as compound multi-dimensional, etc.) can be appropriately added to the feed or drinking water. . Once the disease occurs, it should be isolated and treated immediately, the pens should be thoroughly disinfected, the whole group should be fed with asthma treatment (mixture or drinking water), and the sick pigs should be injected intramuscularly with anti-asthmatic drugs such as aminophylline, florfenicol, etc., and antiviral drugs such as astragalus Polysaccharides, immunoglobulins, etc. are injected once every 12 hours, twice a day, for 3-5 days. Compound multivitamins, glucose, astragalus polysaccharides, etc. are added to the drinking water to improve the resistance of pigs.

2. Swine fever: The disease is an acute, febrile and septic infectious disease caused by swine fever virus. Mainly by immunization prevention. In non-epidemic areas, breeding sows should be immunized once before or after breeding; breeding boars should be immunized once in spring and autumn; piglets should be immunized once after weaning, and then boosted once every 20-30 days. In areas where the disease is common or threatened, the breeding sows should be immunized once before or after breeding; piglets can be immunized first at 20-25 days of age, and second at 50-60 days of age, and advanced immunization can also be used. . Once the disease occurs, 6-8 times the amount of swine fever vaccine can be used for emergency vaccination, and at the same time, appropriate antibiotics can be injected to prevent secondary infection, and good curative effects can often be obtained in the early stage of the disease.

3. Swine Influenza: This disease is an acute and highly contact infectious disease caused by swine influenza virus. First, strengthen the disinfection of pig houses, and add some antibiotics and antibiotics to the feed or drinking water before the temperature changes. Exciting drugs (such as multi-dimensional compound, astragalus polysaccharide, etc.) to improve the resistance of pigs. Once the disease occurs, in addition to the use of antibacterial drugs for the whole herd, symptomatic pigs can be treated in time, such as injection of penicillin and Antondine, etc., continuous medication for 3-5 days, as long as the secondary infection is well controlled, generally rarely die. , recover in about a week.

4. Porcine transmissible gastroenteritis: This disease is an acute and highly contagious infectious disease caused by porcine transmissible gastroenteritis virus. It is mainly prevented by vaccine immunization. It can be injected one month before the calving of pregnant sows. Swine transmissible gastroenteritis vaccine or combined vaccine of epidemic diarrhea and porcine transmissible gastroenteritis enables piglets to obtain passive immunity through breast milk. At the same time, pigs are not introduced from the epidemic area. During the disease season, some antiviral and antibacterial drugs are given to the pigs for prevention, which can play a certain preventive effect.

5. Rotavirus disease: acute intestinal infectious disease caused by porcine rotavirus, and only occurs in piglets within 2 months of age. The symptoms of piglets are anorexia, vomiting, and diarrhea. Breastfeeding should be stopped immediately after the onset of the disease. Oral administration of glucose saline and compound glucose solution has good curative effect. Rehabilitation of sick pigs.

With the continuous development of the pig industry, disease prevention has become more important than treatment. There are many ways to prevent diseases. It is a commonplace to talk about it now, but it can be effective in preventing diseases and improving the income of pig farms. There are not many household friends, and there are only a handful of breeding friends who truly realize the importance of scientific feeding management and providing a good living environment for pigs. Here, the author still hopes that all farmers and friends can control the occurrence of diseases through scientific feeding management and creating a good living environment for pigs. If this is done, it will be able to bring greater economic benefits to farmers and friends.
