Indication |
It is used for the deficiency of vitamin C and all kinds of infectious diseases, hyperpyrexia, trauma or burn, it is also used for the adjuvant treatment of anemia, bleeding tendency, methemoglobinemia, allergic dermatitis. |

Dosage and Administration |
Intramuscular or intravenous injections of a single dose of 10-30 ml for horses, 20-40ml for cattle, 2-5ml for sheep and swine, and 0.2-1ml for dogs. |

Side Effects |
When administered high doses, it will increase the risk of urate, oxalate or cystine crystal formation. |

Precaution |
① It should not be mixed with alkaline drug(sodium bicarbonate etc, vitamin B12, vitamin K3, because it is easy to oxidation failure. ② It has different degrees of inactivation to aminoglycosides, β-lactam antibiotics, tetracyclines, etc. So it should not be mixed to inject with these antibiotic. ③ It can acidify urine and increase some organic alkali drugs excretion at high dose. ④ Diarrhea and urinary stone can be caused at maximal dose. |
