Colistin Sulphate Oral Solution
COMPOSITION
Each 1ml contains
Colistin Sulphate ...........2 400 000IU
Colistin is polymixin antibiotic.
It is highly effective against gram negative bacteria. It is poorly absorbed by gastro-intestinal tract after administration, so has specific advantages in the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal infections (colibasillosis and salmonellosis)
INDICATION
For the treatment of general bacterial infections caused by gram negative
Bacteria and gastro-intestinal infections caused by E. Coli, colibacilli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Pasteurella and Pseudomonas.
DOSAGE
Treatment: 1ml per 2 litre drinking water for 5~7 days.
Prevention: 1ml per 4 litre drinking water for 5~7 days.
WITHDRAWL TIME
Milk, eggs, and meat should not be used during and within 4 days from
the last treatment.
SIDE EFFECT
No adverse reactions at recommendation dose.
STORAGE
Store in a shady, sealed and dry place.
